Section 31
Hearing officer
: (1) Sub-section (1) of section 26 of this Act. The District Court shall have the authority to initiate and dispose of cases involving offenses under 91A) and (2).
(2) Apart from what is written in sub-section (1), the designated authority shall have the authority to initiate and dispose of other cases under this Act.
(3) In accordance with sub-sections (1) and (2), the district court and the designated officer shall follow the procedure as per the Special Courts Act, 2059, while proceeding and disposing of cases under this Act.
(4) An appeal may be filed within thirty-five days against the decision made in accordance with sub-section (1) or (2) and the decision made by the designated officer shall be appealed to the district court.
(2) Apart from what is written in sub-section (1), the designated authority shall have the authority to initiate and dispose of other cases under this Act.
(3) In accordance with sub-sections (1) and (2), the district court and the designated officer shall follow the procedure as per the Special Courts Act, 2059, while proceeding and disposing of cases under this Act.
